Build it here.
Host it anywhere.

The premise

PortfolioDIY is built around a simple promise: the site you export should be useful without us.

You pick a template, replace the sample content with your own, and export clean, semantic HTML/CSS/JS. The exported files run on any static host and do not call back to PortfolioDIY.

That export-first promise shapes the editor. You edit fields, sections, and design tokens, not loose objects on a canvas. The template keeps its structure while your content and style choices flow through it.

We charge for one convenience: Premium. For $7 once, exports from your account ship without the PortfolioDIY badge for 12 months. A hosted profile at pfdiy.com/your-name is included, so you can be online without buying a domain or hosting first.

Host anywhere

Export static files and put them on GitHub Pages, Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare Pages, or a shared host.

Keep the code

The exported site has no runtime dependency on PortfolioDIY, so it keeps working on the host you choose.

Clean code only

Semantic HTML, BEM CSS, minimal JS. No frameworks required to maintain it.

Built for hiring

Templates, SEO files, and the checklist all support one goal: making your work easy to review.

Transparent pricing

Build and export free. Premium is $7 once for 12 months of badge-free exports and one included online profile.

Recruiter-ready output

Exports include structured data and SEO files, and the editor flags common portfolio problems before you share.

The rules behind
the product.

01

Start with the export

The exported ZIP is the deliverable. The editor, templates, and checklist all exist to make that ZIP useful.

02

Use constraints on purpose

The editor exposes content fields and design tokens instead of free-form positioning, so layout decisions stay consistent.

03

Charge for convenience

The watermark is removable by hand, and we say so. Premium makes clean exports automatic across your account.
